Got some downtime over easter weekend with a whirlwind weekend visit from family from the bay area, central ca, and austin. we had a great time hiking all around town to some of the most incredible views of the back country and 360 of the ocean and mtns.
the mtns and oceans are to me in ca as the monuments, arts & culture, and the potomac river were to me living in alexandria, va. i had a hard time leaving the east coast because of those things. but what life threw at me was another kind of love. i've fallen in love with nature. what a wonderful gift i have each day waiting to be explored!
