Via Botanica handmade soap

My bathing products are pretty simple: a mesh scrub and drugstore soap. I’ve been quite content with it until I decided to change things up a little because my skin was feeling so dry now that the weather is colder. So I tried Via Botanica handmade soap in almond honey and totally loved the way it made my skin feel. None of that soapy residue on my skin and the subtle nut and honey smell made my shower that much more relaxing. The almond oil is similar to a baby’s sebum, the oil naturally produced to protect the skin, plus the almond oil is rich in protein, minerals and vitamins, leaving my skin moist and smooth. It’s great for the dry winter months. The soap comes in a big bar so it lasts quite a while and it comes in mint, vanilla, and lavender. All of them handmade in small batches to ensure the best quality. You can find it on Sama Living, tranquil living essentials website.

Okay, so my bathing products are still pretty simple, but at least they're more nourishing now.

Sugar Scrub

I love the feeling after a strenuous run. It challenges me and brings me to a state of euphoria, keeping me mentally and emotionally balanced. I live in Bethesda, MD where I go to the gym and run I run twice a week. On those days I run and sweat, I've created a ritual to treat myself to Buddha Nose Sugar Scrub to cleanse away impurities. The gentle sugar grains sooth and nourish my dry skin especially in Maryland winters and the subtle ancient scent has a calming effect that carries over after my shower and through the day. Guys and gals, exfoliation is the key to keeping the body healthy and rejuvenated. It removes the dead skin cells and increases blood circulation leaving the skin glowing.

To exfoliate at home in the bath, wet skin first, apply the scrub using circular movements working towards your heart. Buddha Nose Sugar Scrub is my new secret to a pre-party energy boost during the holidays! You can find Buddha Nose at www.SamaLiving.com
